Celebrate your senses, encourage self-awareness and cultivate joy at the 2nd annual IrieTreat: Nurture the Source, a discovery retreat April 18-22, 2024, hosted and curated by Irene Rutherford.

Practitioners

Join Irene Rutherford, Clinical Aromatherapist and Healing Arts Practitioner, in this idyllic paradise as she holds nurturing space while sharing insights and tools for taking deep care of ourselves. This year Irene welcomes Haley Blackspruce, Herbalist, and Shandrea O'Brien, Jikiden Reiki practitioner, to co-facilitate and share their expertise in the realms of plants and healing. 

This is an exclusive opportunity to spend more time with 3 gifted ladies and learn about what keeps them inspired, nurtured, centered and thriving. 

 

New Denver Lodge

Rooms feature luxury bedding, WIFI, smart TVs and more. King, Queen and Double rooms include private bathrooms. Guests enjoy comfort and style, an indoor swimming pool with floor to ceiling windows and indulgent views. The lodge's expansive outdoor deck boasts a large hot tub, a fire table and multiple areas for relaxing and soaking in the spectacular lakeview setting.

 

     

 

Mornings

Wake to the beauty of the land, healing in itself.
Break your fast with a fresh food buffet, drink cacao, chai or coffee while gazing at the scenery through floor to ceiling windows or in the comfort of your own room.
Buffet breakfast featuring Grace's delicious eats and drinks. 

Join curated activation sessions designed to amplify life force while exploring energy fields, aromatherapy, visualization, art exploration, herbal tinctures, and self growth mapping. Learn techniques that decrease stress, encourage self-awareness and cultivate joy, with each facilitator taking turns to guide you through these rising sessions. 

Participation in the rising sessions is not mandatory... this is your time to do what best serves you!

      

 

Afternoons

Afternoons are yours to relax by the pool, enjoy the infrared sauna, or explore the spectacular Slocan Valley. 
Buffet lunch of fresh and light fare made by Kumi is enjoyed at your leisure. 

Book a massage with Irene (sold out), Reiki with Shandrea, or Herbal Consultation with Haley, limited spots available.
These offerings are paid for at time of service, not included in the retreat package. 

Soak in nearby mineral hot springs: Nakusp and Halcyon are about an hour’s drive away. 

Have an early season paddle on Slocan Lake.
Hike and bike the forest and lake trails. 

Or have a nap!

     

 

Evenings

We dine together at the pool-side long table on delectable Sri Lankan cuisine, freshly prepared by Chef Kumi. She has the best energy, and her food reflects that. Vibrant nourishment deeply felt while the sunsets behind Frog Mountain. 

Bring summery clothes...if it’s sunny, the aquatic dining room gets delightfully warm.

After Dinner

Stargaze while soaking in the hot tub or by the outdoor fire. 
Unwind in the infra red sauna, have a swim, laugh into the night. 

The “Great Room” invites you to nestle in by the wood-burning fireplace, play billiards or the piano, and cultivate new friendships. 

Irene will be story telling "The Red Bead Woman", a tale of finding your voice at the edge of the edge. 

Dance like nobody is watching on Saturday night, when mythical costumes are encouraged!
